Steve D. Wilson is an award-winning singer-songwriter and a veteran of both the Army and the Air Force. The son of a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, he served for 16 years as an Army paratrooper, then as a B-52 Electronic Warfare instructor, with two combat deployments.
Creating a unique style with driving beats and authentic lyrics developed from a well-lived life, his music paints an autobiographical road map intersecting a lifelong drive to simply play music, while subtly touching upon the the aftereffects of trauma and struggle.

In addition to Steve’s solo acoustic projects, he also fronts the Texas rock bands The Black Doves and Matte Blacke, and continues to produce original music for several budding artists.
